Hormonal Imbalance
Hormonal imbalance can be a real challenge as women age. Hot flashes, irritablity, loss of energy are just some symptoms that can drive a women crazy, not to mention those around her.
Below is Kerrie thrilling story with results using Vita-Che. Kerrie's major goals are for better health and weight managment. Kerrie credits her good nutrition to VitaChe and Appetizer Diet System. As she puts it, over the last 9 months she feel like a "brand new woman."
"This is Kerrie. About 6 weeks ago I wrote about my hormone imbalance( I had a complete hysterectomy earlier and it sent me straight into menopause. I was on primren for about 9 years) and exertion blood pressure(I was on atenalol) and you said that Vita-Che should make a big difference. Well it has made a phenomenal difference! I took 10 a day for the first 9 months, I have just taken that down to 8. I don't run out because even I can't stand to be around myself when I haven't had my Vita-Che. I am taking zero prescriptions at this time. I also take 1 VitaWoman every morning and, of course, my Limu Plus.
First of all I still have my moments but my hormones are so much more in balance that even I can stand to be in the same room with myself. The hot flashes are maybe once a day now where I was having 7-8 a day. Secondly, I couldn't even climb a flight of stairs without stopping at the top and literally bending over to catch my breath. About three weeks ago I started walking and I am up to four miles a day four days a week. My goal is twenty miles a week.
I also started the Diet Cookie about the same time as the Vita-Che and at my weigh in this morning I have also lost 15 pounds.
So to recap, my hormones are 90% better than just six weeks ago. I have a lot more energy and have lost 15 pounds and counting. I just added the Appetizer Shakes last week, which are great by the way, and plan on losing another 25 pounds. As far as my blood pressure, I went from barely climbing 14 stairs a day to walking 16 miles a week. Does that sound like an improvement?
Thank you so much! I am like a different person. It is so noticeable that I get comments from friends and family about how good I look and what a pleasure I am to be around again.
Now will I ever run out of Vita-Che? No way!
Vitamark means HEALTH AND LONG LIFE at any age!
Thanks again,
Kerrie Burger"

Eye Floaters | What Causes Eye Floaters
Most people will develop eye floaters as part of the normal aging process.
What causes eye floaters?
Eye floaters happen when the gel-like substance within the eyeball called the vitreous begins to shrink, causing small portions to thicken and cast shadows on the retina. It's the shadow of the thickened spot, not the actual debris that you see. There are several events that can cause floaters to develop: diabetes, cataract surgery, laser operations, or injuries to the eye. The debris that is causing the problem usually settles to the bottom of the eye where it is less likely to cause problems. They sort of take care of themselves.
Sometimes a section of the vitreous pulls the fine fibers away from the retina all at once, Those who experience a sudden increase in eye floaters, flashes of light in peripheral vision, or a loss of peripheral vision should have an eye care professional examine their eyes as soon as possible. This could indicate a retinal detachment.
Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a serious eye problem. This is when the retina degenerates from the center outward – causing lose of central vision first.
Certain key nutrients given at the early stages of AMD may reduce vision loss, according to the National Eye Institute (NEI) study on the prevention of AMD. This study was conducted over an eight year period (reported on in 2002) and involved more than 3,500 people over the age of 55. The research recommends that anyone at risk for AMD take the same amounts of the nutrients used in the study:
. Vitamin C - 500 mg
. Vitamin E - 400 IU
. Beta-carotene - 15 mg
. Zinc (as zinc oxide) - 80 mg
. Copper (as cupric oxide) - 2 mg
These nutrients are found in varying degrees in Vita-Che and Vita One. You would only have to have 50mgs more of Zinc and 1.75 mgs of Copper to meet the requirements.
Nearly half of Americans over age 75 develop cataracts. Cataracts arise when the proteins in the lens of the eye are changed causing a part of the lens which is normally clear to become cloudy. Over time, this "cloud" grows, eventually interfering with vision.
The Tufts University in 2003 looked at the benefits of specific nutrients in preventing oxidation damage that contributes to the formation of cataracts. The team studied 13 years of nutritional and medical data from almost 500 women over the age of 50. This data was backed up by a more recent study done in 2005 and reported on in the "Archives of Ophthalmology".
The first study showed that women who had the highest intake of the nutrients had the lowest amount of cloudiness in their lenses. Furthermore, women who had taken vitamin C for more than 10 years were less likely to have the cloudiness related to cataracts than those women who had taken no vitamin C.
The second study the Tufts team analyzed data from the Nurses Health Study and found that those who took vitamin E for more than 10 years had less progression of their cataracts after a 5-year follow-up. Similar results were found in those who had taken higher amounts of the B vitamins, riboflavin and thiamin. The results from this 5 year follow-up of the first study showed that Vitamin C might prevent the formation cataracts.
Whether you are experiencing eye floaters or more serious eye problems, these studies can shed some light to the importance of Vitamins and Minerals.

Chelation - Will it help with hardening of the arteries?
Chelation therapy has been around awhile. Some say it can help with atherosclerosis otherwise know as “hardening of the arteries.”
This article will discuss what happens to your body, what are the contributing factors and the different treatments available...so you can make the best choice of treatment for you.
*Perhaps your doctor has told you that your coronary artery is 60% or even 98% restricted or perhaps you have had a stroke in the past.
*Maybe your feet feel cold and you do not have the best circulation and you wake up in the middle of the night with leg cramps.
*Perhaps you feel numbness or tingling in your lips or fingers or you get a cramp in your hand when you write a letter.
*Is your memory as good as it should be?
*Are you under stress?
*Does a short walk cause you pain?
If any of these situations describe you, you may have circulatory issues.
What are your options?
The information that we will be sharing is meant to be educational and is no way intended to provide individual medical advice.
The facts
*Every minute of the day, about 6 people suffer heart attacks in the U.S.
*More than 83% of heart attack fatalities occur in Americans who are 65 years of age or older.
*Every 5 minutes, a fatal stroke will claim the life of one victim in U.S.
This is a serious problem.
Faye's dad had a serious problem:
Faye's Dad was examined by the doctor. He could not find a pulse in his left leg. The doctor advised him that he would have to have surgery in three month. He started taking a natural supplement and in September went back to his doctor. When his surgeon examined him, he got a pulse in his left leg. The doctor was quite surprised and told him that he did not need the surgery after all, and to keep doing whatever he was doing. Faye's father is 81 years old and is now back to swimming, roller skating and also weight lifting.
About your arteries
Visit hardening of the arteries for a picture of a normal artery and of a diseased artery. As you can see there is a lot of junk in the diseased artery.
What is all this junk and how did all the junk get there?
*Once upon a time, blood flowed freely throughout your body. Your arteries were clean, unobstructed and able to feed your heart, brain and every cell and organ in your body. Things were good.
*Over the years, calcium molecules deposits to the inner walls of your circulatory system forming plague and plague begins to clog your arteries.
Scientists are not quite sure why plague happens. They are many theories out there. One thing they agree on is that first there is inflammation of the inner layer of an artery, calcium comes in to protect the artery and forms a net which collects cholesterol, platelets and other molecules. As a result this collection grows and grows.
Parts of it can break of and travel to your heart causing heart attack or brain causing stroke or lung causing pulmonary embolism or your peripheral limbs and cause cramps, cold feet and poor circulation.
How did we get in this mess?
Contributing factors:
*Smoking
*Exposure to radiation
*Consumption of chlorinated water
*Consumption of unsaturated oils esp. rancid ones
*Use of chemical additives
*Constipation ( since the abundant of feces remain a long time in the colon will combine with bile acids and form a powerful free radical call 3-methylcholanthrene. This may be absorbed into the blood stream and in the absence of adequate Vitamin E will penetrate cell walls and can cause DNA mutation)
*Many physicians now suspect that there is an immune system component to the problem (inflammation may help cause atherosclerosis).
*hypertension
*hereditary
*free radicals damage
*homocysteine
*homogenization of milk releases the enzyme xanthine oxidase. This is a harmful enzyme to the body and can produce a lesion in the wall of the blood vessel.
As you can see there are many things that attribute to circulation challenges. Some of which we have control over and some we do not.
What are some things we can do when this happens to us?
*quit smoking
*exercise at least 3 x week. Simple exercise helps tones muscles, lowers cholesterol, eases stress, promotes sleep, helps you think better and improves circulation.
*low fat diet
*lose weight
*Prescription drugs to reduce cholesterol level or to decrease BP
*Coronary artery balloon angioplasty
*Open heart surgery
*Chelation therapy
You might have heard of chelation.
Chelation has been around for awhile. One if the first uses was in Russia in1922, to remove heavy metal from blood stream of people who had blood poisonings from high amounts of various metals.
Chelation was also used in Germany before WWII for the same reason and was brought to US in 1948. It was used on men who had been working on our ship and suffered from lead poisoning from paint.
As they were giving chelation to clear up the blood poisons. They began to realize that it was also removing plaque from the artery walls. Since than more research has been done.
The power of chelation is a substance scientists call “ethylenediaminetetracetic acid.” But please don't be put off by the fancy name. We can refer to it with four little letters. E-D-T-A. It is a synthetic amino acid, very similar to household vinegar.
Why EDTA is in foods we enjoy everyday!
Both the U.S. Food and FDA approved of it.
EDTA is used to stabilize fats, oils and vitamins
...to keep potato products from turning brown
... to keep fish and shellfish looking fresh in the supermarket
...to preserve favor and consistency of milk products
... keep beer from exploding in your face when you open the can
... to preserve the flavor of soft drinks
What is chelation and how does it work?
Chelation is a Greek word meaning ‘claw.’
The EDTA is the claw that grabs the glue cholesterol/calcium deposit in the inner walls of your arteries sort of like an eagle's claw grabs a helpless field mouse.
So EDTA acts like a rotor router in our blood vessel and scrubs all your arteries clean.
One common question people ask is how long does it take to start working?
It will take about 3 months to decide on how effective oral chelation can be. Remember 30 years of damage to your system won't go away over night.
That is why it is highly recommend to get 3 months supply.
Is it worth it?
60yr old Marlene had blockage in the artery in her neck. “It was 97% blocked so the doctor put a shunt in her neck to keep it open so she could have a good life. Then she had an ultrasound test done and it was bad news. They told us that it was still 80-90% blocked and they would want her to see a neurologist. They also wanted her to have an angiography done and to really look at the blockage. This was done and we were all very worried when low and behold they found really no blockage! It was only blocked 5% -- a long way from 80-90%. To be honest, I was feeling that the products were not helping and was mad before I heard the true test results. I am glad to tell you the products really do work!”
I have my 78 yr old Mother on Vitache 'cause I want to keep her around for a while. She walks for one hour every day. Since taking supplements her legs are warmer. She no longer needs to take a nap in the afternoon and she sleeps better at night.
Now that “the claw” EDTA has loosen the plague, let's give your body nutrients that will assist with the repair of the tissue.
Look for a product that not only contains EDTA but also Vitamins, Minerals, amino acids, lipids, enzymes and herbs that work together to provide an environment where healing can take place.
Many people who could not walk due to muscle pain or angina pain have reported that they can walk without pain after chelation therapy.
Vitache has:
Vita A, C, E and Selenium for enhanced protection from deadly free radials.

L-arginine is Viagra for the heart arteries it will dilate blood vessels.
Betaine -helps decrease homocstine level.
herbs such as:
Hawthorne Berry protects arterial walls from damage caused by the build up of plaque.
Butcher's broom has anti-inflammatory properties.
Fenugreek and ginger are very powerful contributor to maintaining cholesterol within normal ranges.
Many users say their youthful energy levels are restored.
You might find that tingling in arms and legs has vanished.
Memory is sharpened and your ability to learn returns.
And even sexual pleasure and performance returns.
Not bad for a vitamin enriched supplement.

Thomas from Ohio writes:
For 68 yrs I've struggled with asthma and recently during the past 10 years with mental limitations such as sleeplessness, esp during driving, legs cramps that were awfully painful during sleep usually, sore joints that limited finger movement and knee movement, also elbows, vein injures that caused swelling on the left wrist about the size of my first thumb joint 1 ½ x ¾ . The skin on the back of each hand looked like hamburger. My fingernails were brittle and deeply linked with light areas under the nail(no pink), my face was lined made me look older. I was a stooped over during walking, used crutch last summer just to get about when my leg pain got really bad. I had hearing problems, left leg was going out of focus, blood pressure was 198 over 119 with skipping beats up to 30 times a minute. I was formerly a competitive swimmer and international champion with very poor workouts simply because of feeling under the weather all the time. Last summer I was very short tempered with the roofing crews(I'm a contractor), I was forced to take fewer roofing jobs because of physical limitations which I assumed was to be expected in the upper 60's age bracket. I was on medication for heart problems until just recently, no longer necessary as you know, my cholesterol was very high, I have been a organic gardener for most of my life, but environmental pollution, etc bought about most of the above physical limitation...Well, you can be very, very sure that the above problems have virtually disappeared. Last week I drove 18 hours straight through to Florida, was on my feet all day and saw a show, got a good night's sleep and drove back in 20 hours with not one minute's fighting to stay awake during driving The aluminum in the brain that was causing the left hand to shake noticeably( Alzheimer's) are cleaned out. All the above have been corrected with BP now running about 125/77, pulse in the 50's. Swimming workouts are back to the old days, my cholesterol last week was 184. It is a joy to feel good again and I thank God for leading me to people like you. God has indeed blessed those of us who have found this great product.
So now it's up to you.
I wish you good health,
Monique
